Elder Days - coloured by artissima Elder Days - coloured by artissima
When I saw this [link] by :iconmoumou38: submitted to here :iconthelotrclub: I instantly fell in love with it - like so many others and thought: this is a must-see-in-colour! - like some others thought too ;-)

So I put some colour to it.
It's not perfect, but what is anyway (?) - I like the outcome.

Hope you like it too.
Thanks for looking anyway ;-)

very nice ! i think the unicorn could be a bit less detailed and more transparent to make it look more like smoke .and if i may give one more oppinion - the background could need some "cooler" colors (like a cold blue instead of the warm green) to give more strength to the warm fire and i think it would add depth aswell .... just some ideas...
all in all great work !

Thank you - Opinions welcome! :-)
I'll think about your suggestions - there's some earlier versions - slightly cooler in my files, but then with less details on everything ... will be a trick to 'knit' the earlier colours to the later details ... hmmm ... although I must admit, that I was not that much a fan of all those cold colours in the movie

hi !
only the tree-foliage in the background- just add an fine layer of blue on it to give the impression of night-moon-light.... warm colors in front cold in the back - just to augment the overall impact.
what movie are you talking about?...it´s just that i only catched this picture and i don´t know what it´s based on and what is the story all about....
(sorry for my bad english)

"bad english"+"from Hamburg"? ;-)
dann können wir auch auf Deutsch weiterreden...
das Problem ist, dass da kein separater Hintergrund-Layer ist - also schon eher so, wie ein 'richtiges' Gemälde.
